Maintaining the roads in Skagit County has become more and more difficult as funds are drying up and resources are being spread thin. The Skagit Sub-RTPO Technical Advisory Committee (TAC) has put together an estimate of what ten year need is to maintain the current transportation system. It is estimated that close to $20 million needs to be invested in the County’s transportation infrastructure annually.
